Garrett Caldwell, CEO

Our company has undergone a remarkable evolution over the past six years as we’ve pursued our vision to become a leader in clinical education as well as to deliver support to our dentist-clients by providing superior quality and service through our laboratory group. One of the most profound changes over this time has been the richer understanding—and deeper commitment to the sustainability that has come into focus as we have refined our views of what it takes to continue to deliver on this vision.

Built around three equally strong elements; our employees, education, and technologies combined with our bold leadership vision bring together what we believe are the essential prerequisites for maintaining long-term quality in each of the market segment of services we provide to our clients.

What is clearer to me than ever before, is that we cannot achieve continued success if we as a company choose to pursue our goals independently. Rather, our success requires that we consistently work together with our clients and internally as a unified team to achieve our goals through the support of the integrated initiatives that proved so successful from our inception. I cannot emphasize that enough. We must place a high priority on moving forward simultaneously on multiple fronts by introducing new and fresh and more daring strategies and managing our total vision as a unified organization. This unique integration must be the core of our sustainability commitment—and it is indispensable to realizing the aspirations reflected in our company vision. This is also what our clients have come to expect from us as a company.

In an industry that has seen such dramatic change over the last decade and with the impacts those changes present to our future as a company and to our clients, our actions as a company in support of our clients carry far-reaching implications. In fact, my belief is sustainability considerations in the dental industry as a whole, are now among the most influential factors defining our industries playing field today. Many of the most important opportunities to grow our company lie in helping to solve key challenges alongside our clients, a reality that is making sustainability a competitive imperative.

We also have the challenge that comes with learning to approach familiar ground in fresh ways. We continue to seek and integrate new technology, new partner alliances and innovative internal restructuring that focuses on delivering value to our clients in support of our laboratories. These steps have included improving internal reporting and measurement systems. Our goals now specify that we will hold ourselves accountable for performing above industry minimums that define all of the prosthetics and services delivered from our laboratories.

Our integrated education platform, delivered through our alliance with the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC), has also changed. In 2018, The PAC delivered programs to our clients which included many new changes to the courses. These changes were instilled by listening to our peers and implementing new program formats for 2018 and 2019. These changes represent some of our latest steps in what has been an ongoing journey and we are already seeing important new benefits. For example, within the detailed business planning now underway to support our 2019 goals, sustainability considerations are serving as a powerful new driver for collaboration and alignment throughout our family of business service providers as well as or clients. Opportunities to work more closely than ever before with our clients are being forged in bold new ways. We are working closely with and perusing new alliances within the “group market” to support our growth and sustainability. As part of this process, we need to define priorities, identify important challenges and opportunities, and allocate resources directed towards new and bold initiatives. By making better informed strategic decisions we will be able to create new financial opportunities for our business and our clients.

Over the last year, we have continued to make progress toward our key goals. I cannot understate the support and efforts made by the entire Corr and PAC teams, their commitment to our initiatives and to our clients are what ultimately define us as a company. Additionally, we owe credit to all of the PAC instructors who have consistently and unselfishly devoted their time to help us achieve these results, either through their direct engagement with their students in the PAC programs or with our laboratory team and through their constructive feedback that we rely on them to provide us. This kind of open engagement is key to our overall sustainability commitment, and we look forward to continuing to work with a broad and diverse range of partners. This is especially true as we continue to improve quality and communication and as we integrate new initiatives.

In the year ahead, my commitment along with our senior management team will be to continue to strive toward our vision of bold leadership in support of sustainability. As we do, you have our promise that we will be working to improve our performance in those areas where our results are already strong and at the same time, continue to diligently address those aspects of our performance in which we see the greatest opportunities for improvement. If there is anything that we can do to improve our service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me. I wish each one of you a prosperous 2019.

Sincerely,
Garrett Caldwell, CEO
