As we wind up another Spring season of live patient, hands on courses, we want to thank all of the doctors, Instructors, host offices and facilitators across the country. It has been a wonderful experience to work closely with you all. We look forward to seeing you all again in the Fall. Please share your excitement and our contact information with your dental associates and colleagues so they might participate in one of our upcoming courses. Although our courses are on recess over the Summer, the laboratory will continue to be in full operation!
Just a few months ago, Corr Dental Designs/Pacific Aesthetic Laboratory Group made a substantial investment that established critical control of CAD/CAM technology in the laboratory. During the past several months our laboratories have produced hundreds of beautiful restorations provided through our milling operation. Needless to say, the success of this transition has bolstered the volume of milled restorations. We are therefore, excited to announce the expansion of the Milling Department.
Over the next month or so, Corr Dental Design will customize a new “on site” facility which will allow us to increase our CAD/CAM milling capacity to more efficiently serve you, our clients.
Along with this expansion, we will be implementing some new materials. Presently, our milling efforts have been confined to YZ restorations. Our new plans will augment our capabilities by adding PMMA materials as well as wax milling. This will enhance our Wax Department in diagnostics, long term temporaries and the manufacturing of forms for the lost wax casting and pressing process.
Materials geared towards productivity, quality and flexibility combined with the coordinated
processes provide optimum results. In view of the extensive range of indications, including veneers, inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges and implant abutments, the possibilities of digital manufacturing in the laboratory appear to be virtually boundless. These innovations will allow customized solutions for yet the most challenging case. In the recent past we have increasingly found that when multi disciplined cases present themselves, our readiness to utilize our newly acquired equipment allows us freedom to design and produce the best options and alternatives to our doctors.
We look forward to working with you in the areas of expanded services our laboratory is providing. Call us to discuss a case treatment plan and the options we have in CAD/CAM Technology.
