This month we are celebrating our 25th issue of the PAC TEC newsletter. For just over two years the PAC TEC newsletter has been bringing you a monthly look at cases focusing on comprehensive restorative dentistry finished aesthetically.
The Pacific Aesthetic Continuum was founded on these very principles. The regional education program is taught by leading dental professionals including Dr. Michael Miyasaki, Dr. Thomas Dudney, and Dr. Jack Griffin.
Starting with one day lectures focusing on the PAC philosophy, aesthetics in your practice, modern materials, occlusion principals, to our Live Patient Hands on Training for doctors from Level I to Level V along with a Full Mouth component taught by Dr. Michael Miyasaki, the PAC’s programs are designed to provide you and your team with an entirely new outlook on dentistry and deliver you the information and practical skills needed to apply it in your practice on Monday morning.
This year’s San Francisco program brings Dr. Miyasaki to our podium, hosted and assisted by Dr. Samir Ayoub and Dr. Todd Franklin. The dates are September 16-17 and October 14-15. Understanding how to complete a full mouth case with confidence through a systematic approach is invaluable to your skill set. Understanding the fundamentals of case diagnosis, material selection, preparation design, temporization and bonding is now part of every current restorative modality and your patients expect it. In this weekend, each of these programs will run side by side.
Additionally we are pleased to bring you an Over the Shoulder Live Patient program taught by Dr. Thomas Dudney in Southern California. During this demonstration with an optional live patient presentation on day two, Dr. Dudney will discuss the application of sound restorative principles and illustrate their uses during his demonstration with a live patient on day two. Included in this seminar will be the importance of composite mock-ups, preparation design, material selections, provisional restorations, laboratory communication and a multidisciplinary team approach.
And finally coming later this fall to the PAC calendar will be an all new Typodont program preparing doctors to enter the Live Patient Hands-on Program.
