Since I have joined the PAC I have seen many exciting and positive changes in the growth and development of all involved in the education and the laboratory work. I have personally enjoyed working with the Corrs, Gary Vaughn, and the entire laboratory team. But there is a recent change that I am very excited about, and that is the addition of Todd Fong, CDT, to the laboratory team. Todd and I have a long history together with our families and our professional lives. Todd was the first laboratory technician I worked with when I began practicing, and at that point he had already trained with some of the best technicians. When I began working with Todd he had his own laboratory and was already doing master level work. I knew him to be a patient teacher, and I learned from him and became more proficient. I then began my career at LVI and Todd took the laboratory training that LVI was offering. At the time it was taught by Lee Culp who we all recognize as one of the best in the business. In the LVI course a live patient was used and each technician was taught using the patient’s actual case. Each case was then tried in the patient’s mouth and evaluated for fit, form and color, and the best of best was chosen. Todd’s case was the one chosen and his was the case inserted in the patient’s mouth. That was quite the achievement. Over the years he and I have worked many live patient courses together and he has always put in the extra effort to make the cases go well. He has always had loyal clients and he works with some of the best. I had him do my wife’s veneers over a decade ago. Todd is a great addition to an already great team at Corr Dental Lab. As a technician he has great skills, plus he is a fantastic teacher and colleague. I would highly recommend that you send the team at Corr a case and see for yourself. I am excited to once again be working and teaching with Todd.
