Become a faculty member

Standards of excellence.

To maintain the highest standards in education, all PAC faculty members must meet the following qualifications and uphold ongoing commitments aligned with PAC’s mission and values.

Faculty qualification requirements

Clinical and educational experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical dental practice
  • Completed 12 or more full smile designs

PAC program training

  • PAC Typodont Program – Level I: Complete or audit
  • PAC Live Patient Courses:
    • Level II & III – Hands-on with patients
    • Level IV – Hands-on with a patient
    • Level V – Audit as a Proctor
    • Level VI – Audit as a Proctor (no patient participation)
  • PAC Instructor Evaluation: Must be passed to ensure alignment with PAC’s teaching philosophy

Alternative qualification path

Faculty may also qualify by completing a post-graduate, accredited hands-on program such as

  • The Rosenthal Institute
  • LVI
  • Kois Track Courses
  • Pankey Essentials Courses

Plus:

  • Attend PAC Level IV with a patient
  • Audit Level V as a Proctor
  • Pass PAC Instructor Clinical Evaluation


Ongoing faculty expectations

Practice standards

  • Use PAC Laboratory Facilitators for at least 50% of lab cases (crowns, bridges, implants)
  • May not represent or promote competing laboratories in educational settings
  • Maintain a signed PAC confidentiality agreement

Professional involvement

  • Be available to mentor and support PAC members via phone, email, or fax
  • Serve as a speaker at PAC regional events when needed
  • Actively support PAC Certified and Affiliate Members

Study group participation

  • Attend, host, or support 4–6 Study Group sessions per year in your region
  • Engage attendees in PAC philosophy, services, and best practices

Business development and mentorship

  • Generate leads and professional contacts for PAC
  • Mentor program participants and assist in content development
  • Offer feedback, follow-ups, and post-event support


External speaking engagements

When representing PAC at outside events:

  • Include references to PAC programs and services
  • Identify PAC and its labs as your preferred provider
  • Do not promote competing products, services, or labs
